Intraday — Day Open, Previous Day Levels & VWAP
A dotted marker at today's 09:15 IST session open (intraday timeframes only, hidden on 4H and 1D where a day is one or two bars), the previous session's High, Low and Close, and VWAP. Each previous-day level is drawn from the bar that actually made it rather than across the whole chart, with its name above the line at that point -- a high is a fact about one moment, and a line running back through the hours before it would claim the level existed when it did not. The three take a hue each, because dashed against dotted at one pixel on a dark chart is not a difference anyone can see; all three stay in one muted family and clear of the colours the candles use for direction. VWAP is the index's own typical price weighted by the current-month futures contract's volume, restarting at 09:15: an index has no volume of its own, so the weight has to come from the futures, but the price does not -- taking that from the futures too would put the line on the futures' scale, several points off the candles it is drawn over, and every other level on this chart is on the index's scale.
